List Of Analyses 3.2.0
List of analyses and topologies in the SMS results database, comprising 4640 individual maps from 3030 distinct signal regions, 129 different SMS topologies, from a total of 134 analyses.
The list has been created from the database version 3.2.0.
There is also an sms dictionary and a validation page.

Plot: Significances with respect to the Standard Model hypothesis, for all signal regions (1). A standard normal distribution is expected if no new physics is in the data. New physics would manifest itself as an overabundance of large (positive) significances.

Run 2 - 13 TeV
In total, we have results from 48 ATLAS and 47 CMS 13 TeV searches.
- ATLAS efficiency maps: 46 analyses, 110 (of which 14 LLP) results, 1492 individual maps
- ATLAS upper limits: 43 analyses, 104 (of which 4 LLP) results
- CMS efficiency maps: 40 analyses, 69 results, 3977 individual maps
- CMS upper limits: 43 analyses, 174 (of which 3 LLP) results
Run 1 - 8 TeV
In total, we have results from 19 ATLAS and 20 CMS 8 TeV searches.

CMS, 8 TeV (20 analyses)
(1) For analyses with both non-aggregated and aggregated signal regions, we use the non-aggregated ones.
(2) Expected upper limits (‘exp. ULs’): allow SModelS to determine the sensitivity of UL results. Moreover, they may be used to compute a crude approximation of a likelihood, modelled as a truncated Gaussian (currently an experimental feature).
(3) Likelihood information for combination of signal regions (‘SR comb.’): ‘slv1’ = a covariance matrix for a simplified likelihood v1. ‘slv2’ = a covariance matrix plus third momenta for simplified likelihood v2. ‘pyhf’ = full likelihoods as pyhf json files, ‘onnx’ = surrogate machine learned models.
(4) ‘‘Home-grown’’ result, i.e. produced by SModelS collaboration, using recasting tools like MadAnalysis5 or CheckMATE.
(5) Aggregated result; the results are the public ones, but aggregation is done by the SModelS collaboration.
